【 経歴 】
3歳より歌を習う。日本では、MIA academyにてPOPSとR&B学ぶ。
1999年渡米NewYorkにて、Beverley Hanshaw Smith氏、New school universityにてVocalを学ぶ。
2007年帰国USボーカル教室ボーカルインストラクターコースにてインストラクター資格取得。
2008年より目黒にてボイストレーナーを始める。(10年以上お越し頂いている生徒様方多数)
体をしっかり使うトレーニングを得意としている為、
ジャニーズJr.、声優等ジャンルを問わず担当。
2015年銀座三越にて、『カラダを使って声を出す方法』講座を行う。
2014年より『SATINDOLL』『All of Me Club』『BIRD LAND』、MariaEva & FRIENDSへ出演。
glowのイベントの企画プロデュース、ホームページやフライヤーのDesignも担当。
【 なぜglowの講師を選んだか？ 】
生徒さんを型にはまったレッスンではなく、各自のスタイルや個性にあったレッスンができる。
「毎年変化をしていきましょう」！が目標になっているところ。
生徒さん方からも、講師同士でも刺激をもらうことができるので「動いてる」「進んでる」「輝いている」と感じながらレッスンができ、⾃分⾃⾝が変化していけると感じられるのもglowの魅⼒です。

Yoco Yamshita / Voice Training
[Background]
Started learning to sing at age 3. In Japan, studied POPS and R&B at MIA Academy.
In 1999, moved to New York to study vocal performance with Beverley Hanshaw Smith and at the New School University.
Returned to Japan in 2007, obtaining a certified vocal instructor qualification through the US Vocal School Instructor Course.
Began working as a voice trainer in Meguro in 2008, with many students continuing lessons for over 10 years.
Specializes in physical, body-based vocal training, working with a wide range of students including Johnny’s Jr. and voice actors.
In 2015, led a seminar at Ginza Mitsukoshi titled “How to Use Your Body to Project Your Voice.”
Since 2014, has performed at renowned venues such as Satin Doll, All of Me Club, and Birdland as part of Maria Eva & FRIENDS.
Also responsible for planning and producing glow’s events, as well as designing the school’s homepage and promotional flyers.
[Why I Chose to Teach at glow]
At glow, lessons aren’t one-size-fits-all. We tailor each session to suit the student’s unique style and individuality.
The school’s guiding principle, “Let’s grow and evolve every year!”, deeply resonates with me.
I find inspiration not only from my students but also from fellow instructors.
Here, I can feel myself moving, growing, and —and that’s one of the most rewarding aspects of being at glow.
